Mobile Dog Vaccinations
Core & Lifestyle Vaccines, Delivered at Your Door
Most dogs hate two things about routine dog vaccinations: the car ride and the waiting room. We remove both. A licensed Florida veterinarian comes to your home, sets up in your living room, and your puppy or adult dog gets every core and lifestyle vaccine they need without ever leaving their own rug. One calm visit replaces two stressful trips to the clinic.
Mobile dog vaccinations in Orlando work for puppies starting their first shots at 6 to 8 weeks, adult dogs due for an annual booster, and senior dogs whose vet visits have gotten too hard. We bring the same AAHA-aligned vaccine protocols a clinic uses: DHPP, rabies, Bordetella, leptospirosis, canine influenza, and Lyme. Every vaccine comes with a signed certificate and lot number, and the records hit your inbox before we leave the driveway. Read more about our veterinary team and credentials before you book.
Call us to schedule a vaccination visit. Evenings and weekends are open, and most appointments take 30 to 45 minutes from arrival to records sent.
What's Included in a Mobile Vaccination Visit
What Dog Vaccinations Protect Against
-
Rabies, required by Florida law (Statute 828.30) and by every boarding, grooming, and travel facility in the state
-
Distemper, highly contagious viral disease that attacks the respiratory, gastrointestinal, and nervous systems; often fatal
-
Parvovirus, life-threatening intestinal virus that hits puppies and unvaccinated adult dogs the hardest
-
Adenovirus (Hepatitis), viral liver disease included in the standard DHPP (or DAPP) combination shot
-
Bordetella, kennel cough; required by most boarding facilities, daycares, and many Orlando dog parks
-
Leptospirosis, bacterial infection spread through standing water and wildlife urine; relevant in humid Central Florida
-
Canine Influenza, recommended for dogs in daycare, group training, or boarding settings
-
Lyme Disease, low risk in Central Florida, but worth discussing if your dog travels north or hikes regularly
Vaccination Schedules & What to Expect
Every dog's vaccine schedule depends on age, lifestyle, and prior history. A 7-week-old puppy needs a different plan than a 4-year-old Labrador headed to boarding, and both differ from a 12-year-old with strong titers and a sensitive immune system. Here's how we approach each life stage in your home, including a clear pricing breakdown so you know what a visit costs before we arrive.
Puppy Vaccination Schedule (6–16 Weeks)
-
First DHPP at 6–8 Weeks
Puppies get their first DHPP shot at 6 to 8 weeks of age, once maternal antibodies start to fade. We come to your home so a brand-new puppy never has to sit in a clinic lobby with adult dogs. The first visit includes a full wellness exam, weight check, and a deworming review.
-
Boosters Every 3–4 Weeks Through 16 Weeks
The DHPP series continues at 10–12 weeks and again at 14–16 weeks. Multiple doses are needed because maternal antibody levels vary from puppy to puppy, and a single shot can be blocked before it builds immunity. The final puppy DHPP is paired with the first rabies vaccine.
-
We Keep Your Series on Track
When families travel or schedules slip, the puppy series can drift, which means starting over. We track every dose and send reminders so the schedule holds during a busy month.
Adult Dog Vaccination Schedule
-
Annual Wellness Exam Plus Boosters
Adult dogs need an annual exam paired with DHPP and rabies boosters. After the first 1-year rabies booster, we switch to the 3-year rabies vaccine, which is approved under Florida law and reduces the total number of injections over your dog's lifetime.
-
Lifestyle Vaccines as Needed
Lifestyle vaccines (Bordetella, canine influenza, leptospirosis, Lyme) get added based on what your dog actually does. A dog who boards twice a year and visits the dog park weekly needs Bordetella. A dog who hikes near standing water needs leptospirosis. We decide together at the visit, not from a generic checklist.
-
Same-Day Records for Boarding and Travel
Boarding facilities, groomers, and pet airlines all require current vaccine records. We email signed certificates with lot numbers the same day, in the PDF format Orlando-area facilities accept.
Senior Dog Vaccinations (8+ Years)
-
Adjusted Schedules for Older Dogs
Senior dogs still need rabies on the legal schedule, but core vaccines can sometimes be spaced further apart or replaced with titer testing once a long vaccination history is established. We review prior records and recommend a plan that protects your dog without over-vaccinating an aging immune system.
-
Titer Testing as an Alternative
A titer test measures the antibody levels already present in your dog's bloodstream. If titers are strong, certain non-rabies boosters can be deferred. Titers run an additional $85 to $120 and are sent to an outside lab; results take 5 to 7 days. Rabies cannot be replaced with a titer in Florida.
-
Stress-Free for Dogs Who Hate the Clinic
Many senior dogs have arthritis, anxiety, or sensory loss that makes a clinic visit genuinely painful. An at-home vaccination visit removes the car ride, the slippery floors, and the unfamiliar smells. Your dog stays on their own bed; we work around them.
What Happens During a Mobile Vaccination Visit
-
Arrival and Settling
We arrive at the scheduled time and spend the first 5 minutes letting your dog sniff our kit on their own terms. No leashes, no exam tables. Most dogs relax quickly because nothing in the room is unfamiliar.
-
Wellness Exam and Vaccines
Next comes the nose-to-tail wellness exam. Heart, lungs, ears, eyes, mouth, skin, weight, body condition score. Then we administer the vaccines your dog is due for. Most dogs barely notice the injection; we use small-gauge needles and a treat as a distraction.
-
Observation and Records
After the shots, we stay for 10 to 15 minutes to watch for any immediate reaction. We talk through what to watch for over the next 24 to 48 hours, update the digital chart, and email the records before we leave the driveway. Total visit time runs 30 to 45 minutes.
Mobile Vaccination Pricing
-
House-Call Fee and Wellness Exam
The mobile house-call fee is $95 and includes the trip plus the full wellness exam. This is the only fee on top of vaccines themselves, regardless of how many pets are seen at the same address. A second dog at the same visit only pays for their vaccines, not another house-call fee.
-
Per-Vaccine and Bundle Pricing
Individual vaccines range from $35 to $65 each (DHPP $45, rabies $35, Bordetella $40, leptospirosis $50, canine influenza $65, Lyme $55). An annual wellness bundle (exam plus DHPP plus rabies plus one lifestyle vaccine) runs $175 to $220 depending on which lifestyle vaccine is included. Full puppy series (three visits over 8–10 weeks) is priced at $310 total when booked as a package.
-
Payment Options and What's Not Included
We accept all major credit cards, CareCredit, and Scratchpay for installment plans. Titer tests, fecal exams, and additional bloodwork are quoted separately. For a complete fee schedule across every service we offer, view our pricing page.

Dog Vaccinations FAQ
The mobile house-call fee is $95 and covers the trip plus a full wellness exam. Individual vaccines run $35 to $65 each. A typical annual visit (exam, DHPP, rabies, and one lifestyle vaccine) totals $175 to $220. The full puppy series across three visits is priced at $310 as a package. We accept all major cards, CareCredit, and Scratchpay. Many pet insurance wellness plans reimburse part of the visit. Check our pet insurance dental cleaning guide for how wellness coverage typically works, since vaccine coverage follows the same rules. Full fee schedule on our pricing page.
Every dog needs the core vaccines: DHPP (distemper, adenovirus, parainfluenza, parvovirus) and rabies. Rabies is required by Florida law. Lifestyle vaccines — Bordetella, leptospirosis, canine influenza, Lyme — depend on what your dog does. A dog who boards or goes to daycare needs Bordetella. A dog who drinks from puddles or meets wildlife needs leptospirosis. We decide together at the visit based on your dog's age, history, and daily life, following AAHA Canine Vaccination Guidelines.
Puppies get their first DHPP at 6 to 8 weeks, then boosters every 3 to 4 weeks through 16 weeks of age. The first rabies vaccine pairs with the final puppy DHPP visit, usually at 14 to 16 weeks. Multiple doses matter because maternal antibodies fade unevenly, and a single early shot may not take. Until the full series finishes, keep puppies away from unvaccinated dogs and high-traffic areas like dog parks.
The first rabies vaccine is valid for one year. Every booster after that is approved as a 3-year rabies vaccine under Florida law, so most adult dogs only need a rabies shot every 3 years after the first booster. We track the expiration date in your dog's chart and send a reminder 30 days before the next dose is due, so you never miss the legal deadline.
Most dogs have no reaction. Mild side effects — soreness at the injection site, low energy, slight loss of appetite for 24 to 48 hours — happen in roughly 1 in 10 dogs and resolve on their own. Rare serious reactions (facial swelling, hives, vomiting within an hour, collapse) need immediate care. With an at-home visit, we observe your dog for 10 to 15 minutes after the shot, which is when most reactions appear. If something happens later that day or overnight, our emergency mobile vet team is reachable 24/7.
No judgment. If a booster is more than a few months overdue, some vaccines need a single catch-up dose; others (like the full puppy DHPP series, if interrupted long enough) may need to restart. For rescue dogs or imports with no records, we treat the dog as unvaccinated and start fresh. Bring whatever paperwork you have, even partial records help us avoid duplicating doses.
Yes. Every vaccine comes with a signed certificate listing the vaccine name, manufacturer, lot number, expiration date, and the veterinarian's license number. We email a PDF copy the same day in the format used by Orlando boarding facilities, groomers, dog parks, and pet airlines (domestic and most international travel).
